Originally from Clondalkin in Dublin, 17 year old singer-songwriter Curtis Walsh moved with his parents and family to County Laois at a young age from where he began to grow a solid a fanbase by playing local gigs and entering various competitions. He has been invited to support such buzz acts as LANY and Tom Walker of late, as well as numerous well known Irish acts including The Riptide Movement + The Academic, all the while developing and honing his song-writing craft and stage performances.
Curtis has been attending vocal workshops with The Voice of Ireland vocal coach Dr. Trish Rooney as a result of winning The Una Healy Music Scholarship, and has performed at Electric Picnic in both 2016 & 2017. He was the youngest act to be selected for Hard Working Class Heroes Festival, while also becoming the youngest winner of the IMRO Christie Hennessy Songwriting Competition, collecting the prize in November 2017. His debut single Full Recovery was recorded with producer Ross Dowling (James Vincent McMorrow / Talos) and is scheduled for release in July 2018.
